I have been on the weight watchers program for about 6 years now and have lost and maintain my weight just fine, in fact I am so excited that I have been able to maintain my weight for so long that I cannot wait for the new book to come out in June. I think the book will be wonderful to have for those who need it as they are not on the diet. I also love the fact that they are offering the freestyle plan, I think that will be great. I have a question. I have been on the plan for years and over the years have gained about 25 pounds.
So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I do not have a problem with the new points plan, I just prefer the old plan, also the old meetings, not the new ones. I was a member of the Christian church for over 30 years, I have all the old guides and manuals, I'm so happy to find this site. I couldn't go to the meetings I had so much on my plate at work and at home and I was too tired to look at what the great reprogram of the food groups was, I just couldn't do it. Now I am at a place I want to lose weight and maintain and the old plan is what I need. It does work and I am SO GLAD I found this site. Thank you so much!!
Just found your blog. Good luck with the weight loss, I found you at the same time I found the old WW manual's. So I'm back on the old plan and at this point, I'm not going to jump off the wagon. I'm just a bit confused about the new thing. I think I'll go back to the old plan and see if that works. I really want to do this once and for all and I think I will if I can find the old manual. Thanks for all the info on the old diet. I've sent you a note. It's nice to find the old manual's as they are from the WW's original plan. No one can tell me why the change from the original manual to the new plan has been done. I've tried to ask the dietitians about it but they are no help. I'm going to order the old manual's and hopefully it will work. It's the best way to go. Take care, Jeffrey
Hi, I have been a customer of WW for 12 years. I have been on the diet that I am currently on for a long time and I have lost over 60 lbs. From my experience the new points plus diet is extremely hard to follow. I constantly have to check the points, especially for a lot of the foods in the stores now. It seems I am always hungry. I have been on the diet for a year and my weight continues to creep up. I really want to lose this weight and I will keep trying, but it seems like a lost cause. I can’t imagine going back to the old system, because the new one isn’t working for me. I have not been to a meeting in a long time and I don’t even see a need to go. The food is so different now that I don’t even know how to count points. You mentioned the point value of protein, but where do you get that information? It seems like the new system does not have enough protein. I am starting to wonder if this new plan is worth it. I miss the old one. Thank you,
I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this? 827ec27edc
